What is already covered past 2027
MOSO does have active coverage beyond March 2027 for one exterior line. “X‑treme Cladding with take‑back guarantee” is current through 2030‑06‑30, giving specifiers a safe harbor for that specific cladding configuration while the other six declarations approach their date. That EPD is listed separately from the 2027 set and will remain usable on projects as‑is.

Are replacements visible yet
As of July 20, 2026, we do not see newer MOSO EPDs registered for the six items above. That can change quickly once a renewal project is verified and published, but today there is no public replacement flagged for those SKUs. If you are planning spring 2027 submittals, treat March 14 as a hard stop unless an updated declaration posts.
If no refresh lands, where specs will likely flow

Likely substitutes with current EPDs today
- Thermally modified wood boards from Thermory for decking and cladding, with several EPDs valid into 2030 and 2031 via EPD Hub. These cover coated and uncoated boards similar to many outdoor bamboo use‑cases.
- Smith & Fong Plyboo bamboo plywood panels for interior panels and casework, valid through 2028‑12‑13 under Smart EPD. A practical stand‑in when MOSO High Density Bamboo panels or beams are selected for visual applications.
- Fiber‑cement cladding from James Hardie Europe, including Hardie Plank, with EPD validity into late 2028 under The International EPD System. This is not bamboo, but it sits on many spec lists when durable exterior profiles are required with an active EPD.
- Engineered wood flooring from Tarkett with EPD validity to 2027‑08‑01 can cover flooring schedules if MOSO’s High Density toplayer route is blocked. Check your bid calendar so you are not caught by that August date.

Why timing matters commercially
EPDs are generally valid for five years, then need an update to stay usable in programs and owner requirements. That window is fixed by the program operator’s rules, not by individual project flexibility. PCR and rule updates will not rescue an expiring EPD
