We set out to confirm the January 2027 expiries. As of May 21, 2026, we see nine UNICLIMA EPDs with January 2027 validity end dates, not eight. The affected products sit in VRF, rooftop packaged equipment, an air‑to‑water reversible chiller, and an air‑to‑air heat pump.

Are replacements already published?

Replacement EPDs for these exact models or functions are not visible at this time. UNICLIMA has recently published declarations for other product families like ventilation units and a biomass boiler, with validity extending to 2030, which is positive for portfolio coverage. For the January 2027 set above, we do not yet see successor EPDs covering the same categories. If new numbers exist but are not yet public, getting them registered and easily discoverable should be the immediate priority.

Where specs may pivot if renewals slip

Specifiers rarely pause projects for paperwork. If these EPDs lapse without replacements, we expect attention to swing to peers with current declarations in the same roles:
